Digest your emotions when they come up for you or as a practice for a few minutes before bed:
- Take a few deep breaths
- Put a hand on your heart, hand on your belly
- Allow yourself to meet the emotion that is alive for you
- Allow yourself to witness the sensations of this emotion while being curious and non-judgemental about it, tracking it as it flows through your body
- Do they have anything to tell you?
- When the emotion dissipates, allow yourself to sit with the feeling/sensations of peace that come up for you
- Give yourself and your body gratitude for witnessing your emotions
