Summer weather is practically here in Dubai, so there’s no better time to discuss my best all natural sunscreen finds for all skin types. Whether you have dry, normal or oily skin, I’ve got your natural sunscreen needs covered!
When every extra minute in bed counts, I like to minimize my morning routine as much as possible without compromising on any step, especially sun protection. So when I found all natural sunscreen options that double up as moisturizer and makeup base as well, I knew I hit the jackpot. All these options are multi-tasking and cater well for the busiest of people.
Hynt Beauty SUN PREP Broad Spectrum SPF25 Review
Active ingredient: 9% non-nano, micronized Titanium Dioxide
Hynt Beauty SUN PREP was the first natural sunscreen I bought, and I used it throughout all last summer. Unlike conventional sunscreen, it feels very light, and it smells so refreshing! It is white in color but just completely disappears into the skin, with a satin matte finish. It fares best on dry (might need to moisturize before), normal and combination skin – oilier skin types would prefer a more long-lasting matte finish.
Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream Tinted SPF30 Review
Active ingredient: 12% non-nano, uncoated, micronized Zinc Oxide
The Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream has a tint to it that disappears into my now medium complexion, so it does not leave the skin looking chalky. It absorbs well and serves as a great makeup base, especially for the Kjaer Weis Foundation. I used this all throughout winter in Dubai, but will have to put it on hold now as I do not feel it fares well on oilier skin or more humid weather. In my opinion, the Nutrient Day Cream is best suited for dry to normal skin or combination skin in cooler weather conditions.

Blissoma Photonic Light-Shifting Solution SPF25 Broad Spectrum Review
Active ingredient: 12.5% micronized, non-nano, uncoated zinc.
Blissoma Photonic is my latest find and I’ve already bought a backup that I will be opening soon! It has a tint from Astaxanthin (a red algea) that disappears into the skin. It has the most matte finish out of the lot and it works great under makeup for oily skin types and humid weather conditions. By layering a moisturizer underneath if needed, other skin types can enjoy using it as well.
