Months into my clean beauty journey (read 2018), I was on a mission to find a tinted, moisturizing sunscreen that would help me get ready faster in the morning without foregoing any essential step of my routine. All google searches led to the Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream Tinted SPF30, which served as my initiation into the brand.
What started as a product search grew into a full-fledged fascination with both the brand and its founder. Josh Rosebrook the person is a gentle soul and a well of knowledge when it comes to beauty products and botanical ingredients. He has a thorough way of explaining, and his insightful Instagram and blog posts are laden with research-backed information. As a statistician and epidemiologist, I cannot begin to describe how giddy this makes me feel, and how this alone elevates the brand amongst others in my eyes. From him, I learned how to oil cleanse properly, all about botanical Hyaluronic Acid and that Bukachiol is not a botanical retinol, All that, and the fact that Josh Rosebrook makes my holy grail styling products for smooth and sleek blowouts, make him and his brand a winner for me!

Nutrient Day Cream Tinted SPF 30
One of the first clean sunscreen products I have tried, the Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream Tinted SPF 30 paved my way to delve deeper into the brand, so that should say lots about how I like it! It is a tinted moisturizer and broad spectrum sunscreen that I love using during Dubai winters, as I find it best suits drier skin types all year round and combination skin in cooler and less humid settings.

I have gone through several 4 oz bottles of the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator and I will continue to purchase it. I am never good at discerning the effect of hydrating toners and hydrolates, but I do know that this absorbs right into my skin and does not leave it feeling like there is an extra layer on top. Plus, it smells really good!

The Josh Rosebrook Hydration Boost Concentrate is a houseful of hyaluronic acid and antioxidants that I love to us on freshly exfoliated skin to make sure all the ingredients are really penetrating as well as they should. It absorbs fast and makes my skin feel supple instantly.
I have to say its color reminds me of the Biologique Recherche Placenta Serum Authentique, but it is definitely much milder on the nose (the latter is quite pungent) and has a much thicker consistency.
This is hands down a must have for all types of skin all year round!

The last step in my skincare routine, the Josh Rosebrook Vital Balm Cream seals in hydration from the Hydrating Accelerator and Hydration Boost Concentrate (or any other toner and serum). A little goes a long way with this one and its blue tansy scent is just heavenly!
My skin seemed to have a mind of its own this winter; it was much drier than what it would normally be during these times, and I actually had redness and flakiness around my hairline and in my eyebrows. Definitely a first for me! The Josh Rosebrook Vital Balm Cream was a godsend and nursed my skin back to life.
Even though temperatures and humidity have both considerably gone up, I live in Dubai and the A.C is always on so I still find it suitable for night time use. It allows me to wake up to a plump, bouncy and soft complexion. Most importantly, it does not clog up my acne-prone skin.

Next, I have my eye on the brand’s Active Infusion Serum, Active Enzyme Exfoliator, the Herbal Infusion Oil and the Daily Acid Toner that is coming out soon!
Love the look of these products!
