I bet anything not many people put as much thought into buying shampoo as I do – how I envy anyone who can walk down a drugstore aisle and pick a shampoo just because. Just like my skin, my hair has a mind of its own. My scalp is oily, sensitive and itchy. Oh, and I have dandruff. Now you can start to imagine how hard it is to find a shampoo that claims to tackle this tough combination of scalp issues. Enter Sachajuan, a Swedish brand I discovered at Bloomingdales in Dubai, that just happened to have a promising product. Simply called the Scalp Shampoo, it claims it “removes dry dandruff and soothes irritated scalp.”ย
Let me tell you, this shampoo does just that. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, and I dare say I haven’t felt the need to itch my head once. The dandruff has made a disappearing act, and surprisingly enough, the hair is not left extra-dry, like with most of other shampoos that strip the moisture out. I am forever in debt to Sachajuan for the creation of such a godsend product. I can’t wait to try other products from their line; the Scalp Treatment, Intensive Hair Oil and Protective Hair Perfume, not to mention Conditioner, sound promising.
